How to know if your voice is deep or high – Tips to identify your tone of voice

It’s not always as easy as you think to know if you have a deep or high voice. In this article I will share a good exercise that you can use to identify if your tone of voice is deep or scratchy. If you find that your voice is deep, good for you! Many people in the world today are trying to deepen their tone of voice. As you may already know, people with such voices have been shown to become more respected and admired by the opposite sex.

If, on the other hand, your voice is high-pitched, you can always do something about it. Your current tone of voice is not final! There are some effective deep voice training exercises that you can use to try to transform your tone of voice and make it much more engaging, louder, and huskier.

As said above, there is a trick you can do to find out if your voice is too loud and here it is:

1. Put your middle finger to your nose

2. Your little finger on the left side of your mouth

3. Your thumb on the right side of your mouth

4. Your other two fingers on your cheeks

Where do you feel the vibration? If it’s in or around the nose, it can sound nasal and high-pitched, hum lower, and try to move the buzz to the cheeks or mouth. Then try to speak there.
