Your apartment
When it comes to your apartment, don’t let a lease negotiation save you. I have negotiated both commercial and residential.
When starting your search, I suggest you call about 7 brokers and when they ask what you’re looking for, say, “An honest broker who won’t waste my time or test my intelligence.”
Be courteous and respectful to brokers and all other parties involved and you should get closer to market prices.
