Do your muscles ache from a dose of the flu? Mix 1 tablespoon of horseradish in 1 cup of olive oil. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes, then apply it as a massage oil, for instant relief from sore muscles.

Throat pain? Just mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with 1/4 cup of honey and take 1 tablespoon six times a day. Vinegar kills bacteria.

Cure urinary tract infections with Alka-Seltzer. Simply dissolve two tablets in a glass of water and drink at the onset of symptoms. Alka-Seltzer begins to clear urinary tract infections almost instantly, although the product was never advertised for this use.

Cure Coca-Cola for rust. Forget those expensive rust removers. Simply saturate an abrasive sponge with Coca Cola and rub the rust stain. The phosphoric acid in the coke is what does the job.

Rainy day cure for dog odor. The next time your dog comes out of the rain, simply clean the animal with Bounce or any dryer sheet, instantly making your dog smell fresh of spring.

Eliminate ear mites. All you need is a few drops of Wesson Corn Oil in your cat’s ear. Massage and then clean it with a cotton ball. Repeat every day for 3 days. The oil soothes the cat’s skin, suffocates mites, and speeds healing.

Quaker Oats for quick pain relief, not just for breakfast anymore! Mix 2 cups of Quaker Oats and 1 cup of water in a bowl and microwave for 1 minute, cool slightly, and apply the mixture to your hands for arthritis pain relief. Don’t make it too hot, because you don’t want to burn yourself, be sure to try the heat.
