What does the word trendy mean in relation to fashion? Well, simply answered, trendy means more up to date with the clothes/jewelry you wear, rather than the person who chooses to snub themselves by adorning themselves with the latest fashions. Bottom line: If you’re dressed head-to-toe in new designs from Paris, Italy, or London, along with recently designed jewelry pieces, you might be referred to as fashionable by a viewer.

However, keeping up with what’s hot can leave you penniless because most fashion designer brands come at a price that a fashion maniac can’t afford.
