Dead I’m No Good – The Boba Fett Story

Who is the man behind that famous armor? Born a clone, we meet the person behind the famous helmet in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. We see what drives him and how the death of his “father of him” Jango Fett at the hands of Jedi Master Mace Windu drives him to become the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy.

He disappears for a while and is later seen again in a little-seen clip from the 1978 Star Wars Christmas Special, where he meets the gang and they befriend him, unaware of his latest betrayal and that he is working for the empire.

Then we see it again, in all its glory, in the final minutes of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Although without saying anything we realize him as a deadly threat.

Helping Darth Vader capture Han Solo in Cloud City, after his former friend Lando Calrissian betrayed him, Boba Fett becomes engaged to Solo so that Fett can collect his bounty on Jabba the Hutt, who has posted a bounty on Solo. .

Vader is putting Solo into Carbonite Freezing and those now famous words are spoken: “Not good for me, dead!”

Still alive, a now frozen Han Solo surrenders himself to Boba Fett, who then flies with him in his Slave 1 ship to deliver his “prize” to Jabba and collect his reward.
