What makes an excellent entrepreneur?

A while back, I was flipping through my old notebook, the one I used when I was in my first year of college life. I found my notes titled “finance seminar.” Oh, I remember. While my classmates were busy chatting with each other at our table at the time, I was busy taking notes about the seminar. I couldn’t blame them for not listening to the guest speaker because he bored me too. The speaker was just reading her notes and adding a few sentences to explain what is written in your notes.

Despite the boredom it gave us, I still wrote down the facts I had learned from his speech. I thought our professor would give us a long quiz on the seminar, but he didn’t. Good for us. The topic of our seminar interested me anyway. What was the theme? It’s about being an entrepreneur. I knew that I could use this data in the near future.

According to the speaker, the entrepreneur is also known as an innovator. Joseph Shumpeter is the one who introduced the innovative theory.

Characteristics of an entrepreneur

We can’t describe an entrepreneur in one word, so let me share what really makes a good entrepreneur.

An entrepreneur is a person who takes risks, innovates or does new things, seeks change, accelerates the development of the economy, sees and evaluates business opportunities.

risk taker

If you are a person who does not know how to risk, change your attitude. If you can’t, then don’t try to be an entrepreneur. You can’t be successful if you don’t take risks. How would you know if a particular strategy or technique is good for your business if you don’t try to use it? Yes, you can fail. Failure is often on the horizon, but this shouldn’t stop you from taking advantage of risks. As the axiom goes, “No guts, no glory.”

Innovative

People say that necessity is the mother of invention, but do you know what its essence is? Couldn’t you guess the answer? it’s creativity. There comes an entrepreneur.

The entrepreneur must always do something new, fresh, still unknown to most people and, of course, useful. What’s the point of making a product if one like the one you’re about to make already exists? Is it for the assurance that you will have customers because you can see that the product sells? Very good reason, but not really great. It is still better to make an original product. I know he can’t satisfy the man for his whole life (because the man usually focuses on the things he doesn’t have), but for a while, he can also make him feel the satisfaction that his new product gives him.

A true entrepreneur has time to look for change and do something to develop something determined. You shouldn’t get caught up in the usual things. There is always room for development in whatever you do.

Accelerate the development of the economy

If you are a risk taker, change seeker and produce quality new products, there is a great chance that you can help your country’s economy. That’s actually a great characteristic of an entrepreneur. Therefore, most of the country’s leaders are grateful to have excellent entrepreneurs in their country.

Your product with good quality can be exported. Thus, it brings more profit to your business and your beloved country.

Ability to see and evaluate business opportunities

There are so many business opportunities out there. It is good for all entrepreneurs. What you need to know is how to find the best business opportunity for you. Find one that suits your creativity or style.

Then, once you’ve seen a business opportunity, try to evaluate it. In this process, you need to be smart enough to know which opportunity is good for an entrepreneur like you and which one is too good to be true.

Do you have these characteristics? If you do, you can now start a business and learn other things that will make your business successful. Be an entrepreneur. Be your own boss.
