Blast Zone launches the Mega Series inflatable line

Blast Zone, a leading manufacturer of inflatables for home use, has released a new series of inflatables for us to review today. Blast Zone is calling the new Mega Inflatables line. The theory behind the Mega line is to take proven designs and concepts and make them bigger and better with greater capabilities and more features. At first glance, they hit a home run. The first two inflatables from the Mega line to be launched were the Shark Park Mega Play Park and the Mega Croc 13 in 1 Inflatable Water Park. Both units are based on successful residential waterslides that Blast Zone has owned for over three years. These mega versions of the original designs are really that.

The Shark Park Playground is an evolution of the Great White Wild inflatable slide. The Great White is a two-lane straight slide designed to get children out of the shark’s mouth. The Shark Park takes this concept and makes the slide one aspect of this unit. This inflatable has it all. Children climb up sharks’ backs, on their heads, and slide through their mouths down the slide to a pool area that seats four children. The splash pool area is approximately 10 ‘x 8’. Water sprinklers are located on both sides of the splash pool to keep the pool area cool during those hot summer days. Adjacent to the slide and pool area is a bounce house with a bounce area of approximately 7 ‘x 6’. The bounce house can be entered through the velcro opening of the safety net or through the tunnel that goes under the shark slide. Either entry allows safe entry. The bounce house can also double as a ball pit area. This inflatable has something for everyone.

The Mega Croc 13-in-1 Inflatable Water Park evolved from one of the Blast Zones most popular water slides, Crocodile Isle. Crocodile Island resembles a crocodile with a slide that goes down the head and a slide that goes down the slide with a pool area in front for the kids to play. Calling the Mega Croc “Mega” is an understatement. This is the Taj Mahal of residential water parks. The Mega Croc, like the Crocodile Isle, is based on a crocodile that children can slide onto the head and tail. The Mega Croc, however, adds a third slide that runs down the crocodile’s leg. Both the head and tail slides enter the splash pools for an extended slide. Children climb on the back of the crocodile. Once on the upper back of the crocodiles, the children can choose which of the three slides they would like to go down. Beneath the head and tail slides are tunnels that enter two separate splash pools. This unit has a total of three pool areas. If you are looking for the best water park, look no further.

Blast Zones’ existing line of inflatables remained above the competition in quality and design. While it is obvious that Blast Zone improved the overall design with the Mega line of full-featured inflatables, they also added additional commercial material to make these units even more durable. At the time of this publication, Blast Zone had not determined the warranty period for the mega inflatables, but it is very likely to be longer than the 90 days they currently offer.

In short, I am very impressed with the latest inflatables to come from Blast Zone and can’t wait to see future Mega Inflatables.
