Just finished a 2-day “Virtual Marketing Summit” live webinar with Eben Pagan, Saturday and Sunday, 9am-5pm. How was it? Well… first, let me tell you a few things about myself; then how Eben’s classes helped change my view of the current business landscape.

I’ve been running my graphic design and marketing company since 1987. I’ve seen some ups and downs; I’ve been through a business rollercoaster several times. I have seen good times with customers loyal to their suppliers. I remember in the past, after every recession, business would go back to normal. We all used to think of this as a normal business cycle that we could deal with.

But today’s business climate is no longer just a downward curve with “upward momentum” just around the corner. No. The business has changed, and I mean whatever business you’re in. The rules now are not what they used to be and if you don’t adapt, if you don’t take action NOW to change the way you do business, your business will not make it! And to change the way you do business, you have to change the way you think about it.

That’s what I had to do. That is where Eben’s teaching has been so valuable. In August 2011, I purchased a series of live webinars from Eben called Guru Master Class. I think I paid $1997. This was a big step for me. I have researched many internet marketing “gurus” for several months before and was not prepared to spend any money! I thought that with so much information available on the Internet for free, I could research everything for myself and learn on my own as I go. I was bombarded with emails, most of which I subscribed to so weren’t spam, each claiming to have the answer to the “fast easy money” business on the internet. But who do you trust? I realized that I needed to find someone who was teaching the real thing; someone who could show me that they knew what they were talking about. That’s when I found Eben Pagan, and my weekly routine changed forever.

I jumped with both feet into the new world of internet marketing education and thinking. I was hoping to learn the basic steps and knowledge of web marketing, and wow… I got so much more!
