Why is everyday personal common sense so rare?

One would think, as we hear references to the use of common sense all the time, we would witness much more testing and use of it! In fact, it often seems that common sense is, anything but, and, unfortunately, an extremely, WEIRD behavior etc! After more than four decades of trying to help people in this direction, consulting and doing hundreds of personal development seminars/programs, I have witnessed this many times. Although there are probably many reasons for this, when it comes to how we proceed, move forward and behave etc. it often depends on a combination of factors, attitudes etc. With that in mind, this article will attempt to briefly consider, examine, review and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means and represents, and why it is important.

1. Reality: Do your perceptions and reality align, or do you proceed, with a pie in the sky, in an unrealistic way, that gets in the way of proceeding, in the most sensible way? After all, how can anyone proceed, with common sense, unless/until they have a firm concept/idea/handling of reality?

two. Attitude; attention; fitness; avoidance: It usually takes a positive can-do attitude (but without the rose-tinted glasses trap) to fully consider a variety of options and viable alternatives—to improve! How can anyone become the best they can be unless they consistently pay great attention to using common sense in their own best interests? Furthermore, one must commit to and maintain personal discipline, in order to fully and effectively develop and learn how best to use a relevant aptitude and skill set. Unfortunately, people can also revert to avoidance, denial, and procrastination when they need to move on, effectively!

3. Important; manager: Just doing something rarely achieves the best personal results and/or direction/path. It is important to fully consider and base one’s plans on relevant factors and proactively proceed forward, always avoiding the temptation to procrastinate! Only then will our behavior be personal, responsible, and sensitive to our best interests!

Four. Enthusiastic / anxious; energized; emphasis; easier: How will you ensure that you move forward with enthusiasm and a personal desire to be as happy and fulfilled as possible? Will your actions be energizing and energizing, etc.? How might you determine your personal emphasis? Will you do what you can to make your life easier and less stressful, etc.?

Since, every day, common sense is so WEIRD, What will you commit to, so that things proceed as well as possible? Are you up to the tasks?
