Apple designs the iPhone with customers in mind

You may have already heard about the new iPhone from Apple, but do you know all the important and exciting features that are sure to make you want to be the first in line to buy one? In fact, the iPhone has been in development for the past two years. The full version comes with a combination of a widescreen iPod, an Internet communication device with desktop capabilities, as well as a mobile phone with text messaging.

When it launches on June 29, the iPhone will be offered exclusively through AT&T Wireless. You can only buy the iPhone with a two-year service agreement, and it will cost you $499 for a 4GB version and $599 for the 8GB version. It sounds expensive at first, but when you think about the cost of a video iPod that costs around $350, then the price doesn’t seem unreasonable. The iPhone is truly unique in that it runs on the MAC OS X operating system, making it easy for users to seamlessly sync data from a MAC or PC. Apple’s iPhone will also have full iTunes integration, allowing you to retrieve videos, music, and movies. iPhone also uses Wi-Fi and EDGE to connect to the Internet. An iPhone user will also have the ability to search and view standard websites, view HTML emails, and even get directions using Google Maps. No more getting lost as long as you have your phone with you.

The iPhone works with multi-touch technology in which the user controls the device by sliding their finger across the 3.5-inch touch screen. The iPhone has an amazing quality screen that has a resolution of 320 by 480 pixels at 160 pixels per inch. The iPhone is just 11.6mm thin and weighs just 4.8 ounces.

Another cool and extremely useful feature is iPhone’s Visual Voicemail, which displays your voicemail just like emails. This means you have the ability to scroll through a list of voicemails to find the one you want, instead of being forced to listen to each message. You can also use the handy conference calling feature that allows the user to connect to two calls at once with easy-to-use control. With iPhone, text messaging is made easier with the helpful touchscreen keyboard. This keyboard is advanced enough to predict commonly used words which helps the user to avoid misspelled words. There’s also a spell checker if you want to make sure you haven’t misspelled anything.

iPhone also has three advanced sensors, including the proximity sensor, which automatically switches from the screen to the touch screen when the phone is held close to an ear. The accelerometer sensor has the amazing ability to detect when the user rotates their iPhone from portrait to landscape, and automatically changes the content on the screen as needed. This sensor also allows users to view the full width of a web page or photo.
