But many feminists have again abused the concept of equality to refer to similarity. So they have been teaching women to act like the worst of men. In the process, they have been training women to deny themselves the best qualities that are more natural to women than men: qualities like beauty, tenderness, warmth, elegance, and the ability to produce and nurture life. Instead, they have put women in a race to become equal to men, a race in which they can only come second, while denying them the right to what is uniquely feminine, or what is more natural to women than men. for men.
In both cases, we see a great misunderstanding of the concept. Equality does not mean resemblance; equality means equal rights. Equal rights benefit freedom, justice, and human advancement by creating a fair field for all. Coercion toward equality destroys personal liberty by forcing everyone to be equal, even as it undermines human advancement by destroying what is at the root of human advancement: innovation that is in all cases a function of the work of innovative minds. who think differently than it is. thought around him.
