Beware of political leaders FALSE promises!

Year – after – year, election – after – election, American voters appear, to be misled by political rhetoric, and empty, FAKE promise! How often have we witnessed the same pattern, where we choose individuals, seemingly with far less skill, quality of character, and/or caring spirit, than a better-prepared political opponent/adversary? Why do so many simply accept, lie, lie after lie, instead of trying, objectively and with an open mind, to take a much deeper look and examine who might be best suited for a real and meaningful goal? Relevant, sustainable leadership? With that in mind, this article will attempt to briefly consider, examine, revise and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means and represents, the impacts and possible ramifications, and perhaps explain why it seems so – little, is done, by our elected officials.

1. Confront facts/falsification; future; fruition: When so many people believe so-called false facts, and clever politicians so often seem to be focused, more on their personal/political agenda, and/or self-interest, than on our nation’s best interests, on – the present, and towards the future, the need to face the facts, objectively, and to plan/take strategic and action plans, as a true priority, our nation, and the planet, may be, at – risk! Instead of voting, based on one’s personal desires and goals, we need to elect the most qualified and quality people to carry out the essential plans!

two. Attitude; attention; fitness; Share; articulate: Rather than allow these elected individuals to proceed, likewise, and remain within the perceived limitations of their self-imposed comfort zones, we must begin to demand better and vote for those with positive, can-do, willing-to-think attitudes. outside the box and pay close attention to what is best for the overall situation. If these people, prioritized, developing a set of relevant and well-developed skills and abilities, and proceeding to perceive and conceive, create, develop and implement, the best strategic and action plans, and, followed by taking timely and well-considered actions , we would all benefit! Beware of those who articulate a message, but whose actions and behaviors act differently!

3. Sediment; listen; to learn; major: Why do so many apparently continue to believe, and continue to support, politicians who constantly lie to us? How else (perhaps, in addition, and/or, due to fear, prejudice, etc.), can we explain how many continue to accept Trump’s Big Lie? Let’s pick and choose people who actually lead, strategically, in a relevant and sustainable way, rather than those who tell us what we want to hear!

Four. Sustainable; solutions; Service: Populist politics is often harmful, for many reasons, but perhaps most importantly, because it delays necessary and sustainable action in a timely manner! We need to choose candidates whose emphasis is on providing quality service and looking for workable solutions!

5. Efforts; empathy; emphasis; Excellence: Shouldn’t our governance efforts place an emphasis on genuine empathy and demand true excellence, rather than settling for good enough, or some path, of least resistance?

Something is true or not! How can it be a false fact? If we don’t realize the tendency of many elected officials to use empty rhetoric and make FAKE promises, we damage the future of the nation, and the planet!
