The 300-hour training program requires you to participate in class observations, mentor meetings, and class assisting under the guidance of an experienced teacher. You may also be required to complete a self-study research program and complete 6 online mentoring meetings with a Senior Trainer. The ISHTA program will require you to complete this in less than two years. However, there are a few things to keep in mind before choosing a 300-hour training program.

A 200-hour course is designed to help you become a confident yoga instructor, with the necessary skills to successfully teach yoga. The course is taught over eight months and combines asana practice with various fields related to yoga. During the course, you’ll also learn about the importance of the chakras and other aspects of yoga. The training is typically a half-year program and will include classroom interaction and reading materials.
The tuition for a 300-hour course is different from the 200-hour course. If you have completed the 200-hour course, you will need to register as an RYT with the Yoga Alliance. If you have completed a 200-hour training, you can pursue the 500-hour program with an RYT. Nevertheless, you must complete the 200-hour program to receive a certification. You must also complete all assignments, as they will be the basis for your future teaching.
